The Coriolis mass flow meter ROTAMASS is a two-measuring-tube principle for the highest application requirements with the lowest pressure drop for precise flow, density, concentration and temperature measurement.
Except for steam, the ROTAMASS measures almost all media such as toothpaste, ketchup, mayonnaise, fruit solutions, vinegar, animal and vegetable fats and oils, fuels (diesel, petrol, crude oil, etc.), cleaning liquids, solvents, alcohol, liquid gases and gas.
The measuring principle is based on the generation of Coriolis forces. The coil-driven excitation system brings the two measuring tubes to resonance frequency. The counter-phase oscillation of the two measuring tubes and the flowing medium creates a rocking motion.
This movement force is recorded in time and space by sensors on the measuring tubes as a phase difference and is proportional to the mass flow.
With the oscillation frequency of the measuring tubes, density and concentration can be determined in addition to the mass flow.
The following calculations can be made from the characteristic values of the measured variables: • Determination of the solids content • Concentrations in multiphase liquids • °Brix, °Baumé, °API, etc. • Volume flow
In addition to the world's most accurate Coriolis mass flow meter for the smallest flows from 10g/h in a two-tube design, flows up to nominally 170000 kg/h are covered by the ROTAMASS.
The ROTAMASS product family with its six product types (nano, prime, supreme, intense, hygienic and giga) is completed with two transducers (Essential and Ultimate) for every need.
