To measure fast and precise flow rates of air and process gases, thermal mass flow meters from MAGNETROL® / AMETEK® are available in our product range. Thermal mass flow meters have been in use in laboratories and industrial environments since the mid-1970s.
The improved model of the Thermatel® TA2 from MAGNETROL® / AMETEK® is a thermal mass flow transmitter that provides reliable mass measurements of air and gas flow without having to resort to expensive pressure and temperature compensation.
Standard features include flow totalisers, diagnostic functions, automatic correction of mass flow measurement according to gas properties, gas correlation, air equivalence calibration, and optional measuring sections with factory calibration for pipe diameters from ½" to 4".
For the evaluation of the measured values, e.g. analogue outputs 4 to 20 mA with HART® communication and pulse outputs are available.
The units are available in compact or separate versions in flameproof enclosures, for use in potentially explosive atmospheres with ATEX approval.
The Thermatel® TA2 mass flow probe from MAGNETROL® / AMETEK® is available in various materials such as stainless steel 1.4404/14404 (316/316L SST) or Hastelloy® C (2.4819) and also according to NACE.
